How many of us have received comments that we have poor posture? Despite Yoga practice, gym workout and even therapy treatment, it seems like poor posture is an evitable problem that we have to deal with every day. How many of us have seen students coming into Yoga practice with very kyphotic back? What about office men and women coming in with stiff and flat back? What about those coming in with very scoliotic spine, so bad that they could not even lie flat on the Yoga mat??
All of these are called postural deviation and it is much related to our occupation, habits, daily activities and even Yoga practice!!
If you are interested in analyzing your own posture and what Yoga asana you should do (or teach) more and what asana to avoid, we invite you to come to our workshop this Feb 2019; we will learn different commonly seen conditions, its cause, the anatomy and physiology.
Participants will have a chance to check on themselves and assess one another on the conditions.
We will focus on how Yoga poses can help to reduce their severity and what precautions or modifications need to be made for specific asana. Participants will also understand why certain Yoga poses will be more difficult to do for specific conditions.
For each condition, you will learn:

Discussion of which Yoga poses can help to reduce the conditions
